F.A.C.T. Fathers Day Picnic
featuring Kids (and Parents)

Held Sunday, June 17, 2001
at Sir Casmir Gzowski Park in Toronto

F.A.C.T.'s annaul picnic was held again, this time on a beautiful sunny day on the shores of Lake Ontario. It was fun for all....and everyone important was there (and those who weren't there weren't important, at least not on that day).

The firetrucks were there....even though there were no fires. Mom shows the kids the front door, while

...Dad was there to show them the ropes.

There was always things to be done, and there was always someone out working....
...whether it be face painting (nice job Kim-bo)...

...making cotton candy and sno-cones...
..or get your caricature drawn...

...cooking or preparing the burgers and dogs (even the firefighters came back for fourths)...
..or to get a picture taken...
Of course, the kids loved to play in the many games, with a little team spirit
...lots of playing...
...and they even goaded dads into the pie-eating contest.

Dads were around when things got to be a little too much. -- or just for some reassurance.
..or talking over their snocones

The kids helped with the balloons for the too many children that could not be with their dads on Fathers Day....

...but we sent out love as best as we are permitted.
The draws took place....but they must have been rigged because I didn't win anything.
