Victoria -- In the seemingly murky, two-tiered world of child-custody battles, I wonder how I would have fared if I, as a man, had done what Carline Vandenelsen did with her children (Abduction Case Muddies Legal Waters, Experts Say -- Oct. 27). That is, taking the children without permission and against a court order and going off with them for three months.
