Story of abandoned baby made up, police say

Halifax -- A 19-year-old student could face a criminal charge and disciplinary action from her school after police say she acknowledged fabricating a story about an abandoned baby last week.
RCMP said yesterday that they found inconsistencies in the Acadia University student's widely publicized story that she saw a woman place a baby on the steps of a university chapel.
